Dear members of the TUFF Puppy Wikia[]
I am bringing up a matter of that poses a large importance to me, and has been hanging around the chat for the past couple of weeks. This matter is in relation to Matt12428, lying. He lied about many things, and most of which I have uncovered in my first chat with him, the rest through a LOT of fumbling through data, evidence and witnesses.
***UPDATE*** Matthew Cruz has been banned from the TUFF Puppy Wiki for:
• Disregarding US Laws by unrightfully claiming the plot line of "Dog House" as his own mental product.
• For supplying the Wiki with false information regarding the show, it's content, it's staff and production.
• For disregarding Wiki rules in relation to obscene language, abuse to other members and sending death threats.
• For utilizing an alter ego to gain a reputation and administrative privileges.
• For attempted impersonation of a major character in the Nickelodeon staff system (Ernest Chan)
It was a two week fight, and many of the regular users have played a major part in ridding Matt off of this community.
I say deep THANK YOU if you helped, because as you all should know by now, I HATE liars.
I would now like to present as many of his lies as I possibly can. His claims include:
Programming[]
Becoming a professional programmer by studying programming at age 10, when he programmed his 1st robot. Programming is a skill that requires 3-5 years to master at an older age. When asked "Are you some kind of genius or something?" he replied saying he is but rather not mention it. What really struck me is that a genius, who is that skilled with computers, cannot be bothered typing using appropriate English and grammar. Geniuses "dnt typ lyk dis, fyi no1 typs lik dis. it mks dem look stupd". Strike 1. I was doubtful, so I asked this question: "How do you deal with viruses in the CODEC Mainstream?", and he replied saying "I'd rather not talk about it; it's hard to explain this over chat". I really wanted to snare him in, so I lied saying "dude, the answer's only 3 words long". He said "Well, genius, why don't you tell me?” I lied again, saying "Introvert CODEC Examination". He agreed with my lie, from which I concluded he does not even know what a CODEC Mainstream is, and how it deals with viruses. I crossed that one off, and went to the next one. Strike 2.
Also on programming, the time of when he supposedly programmed his 1st robot at age 10 (2003), it is impossible to do so. Programming then was used with computers and technology well out of a ten-year-old’s reach. Most of the robots could not be reprogrammed, and the programming profession took many more years to study back then. Strike 3
He also claims to be programming TV's, computers, robots, and everything. When asked about what he was currently programming, he did not give a clear answer, just side-tracking it by saying "Just programming". You can't program TV's unless you make them yourself, which is not mandatory for a software engineer. Due to his lack of evidence and resistance to give a clear answer, it rendered that notion, impossible. Strike 4.
Martial Arts[]
Practicing Martial Arts for 4 years (13-17 years of age) and dropping out when he left from New York. He studied under a man named "Master Kwan", who also taught him life lessons. I asked Matt (lied) "hmm, you must be in brown belt white stripe, right?", and he fell for it "yea". I then went and made a safeguard "How slow a learner were you?" and he made the excuse of having a "hard life" which he also didn't bother explaining. Now to get him hard, I said "You do know that for 4 years you should be in Black Belt 3rd Dan?" and he fell for it AGAIN, agreeing with me, and then I said "I lied, you have to be in Black Belt 3rd Dan in Martial Arts = 6 years of hard training" and I crossed that one out too. Strike 5.
Pilotry[]
He claims to have started studying pilotry a year/half ago at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. When asked what he was doing when he entered the chat, he said he was programming. I called that out, asking why he has so much time if he goes to Embry Riddle. He said he was on vacation, but I checked out their yearly event table, and a vacation did not tessellate to this date. I called that out, and he said he was on a class vacation, in which he was programming. Also, due to Embry Riddle's easy access database, we were able to make a search. His name is not in the database. Strike 6.
This was all stuff from the first conversation we had, and there was a bit more but my memory wouldn't hold. Keep in mind, that rather he makes valid arguments to prove his point, he became infuriated. On my side, I was calmly and collectively presenting points, lacking the use of swearwords and holding a decent argument. He lied, broke my trust and verbally abused me, even gave me a death threat. For the rest of the conversation, I was asking for a meaningful apology and for him to admit his wrongs. He constantly swore at me and attempted to recruit other users onto his side, rather it was a feud between he and I. Strike 7.
As you know, at this point, Matt is losing his balance, so on the same chat, he attempted to save himself by throwing in stuff like his personal life. How he had a "hard life," and his brother, who apparently died saving him. Due to the fact that you cannot look into someone's past over the internet, I did not shoot a rebuttal over those statements.
After getting a back story on many people, I've seen that this was not the only event in which Matt1242 was lying.
Relations with Nick and Butch Hartman[]
His apparent close relations with Nick, frequent talks with Butch Hartman, and how he has a say in the making of some of the TUFF Puppy episodes. His previous claims includes him stating he built the idea for Dog House, but after close inspection of the credits, his name did not show up on any meter. Strike 8. His close relations with Butch is really far fetched, because Butch doesn't take ideas from fans, and he certainly doesn't communicate with them directly. Even if he made that YooToons phone call with Butch, it does not imply that he ever talked to him again. He also has no say whatsoever in what happens to TUFF Puppy, contradicting his threat to take the show down. Strike 9. He has further claimed that his cousin is a CGI Manager in Nick Studios, named Ernest Chan. He went on to give me a fake email address to attempt to confirm this statement. Someone has brought to my attention the REAL email address of Ernest Chan, which I managed to contact and had quite a conversation. This disproves all his claims of forwarding your ideas to Nick. Age/Appearance[]
After closely monitoring his web life (Facebook and twitter), I fished out a picture of him taken quite recently, and his complexion is rounded, with remains of baby fat. This also fights his claim to be 20 (or turning 20), since baby fat wears off in about 15-16 years of age. He has quite a large amount, and has quite the girth for a boy of martial arts. This defeats about half his claims to be whatever he is today. After a recent Tiny-Chat conversation, I have confirmed these features, and his voice also hints mid-pubescent tones. Strike 11.
Also in extract to the same Tiny-Chat conversation, where there were numerous instances of him claiming to be programming Sonic games. He has correlated this statement to Sonic Heroes, a game that cannot be reprogrammed by any third party legally, unless a licensed and viable programmer belonging to the staff. If, and on the case, that he IS illegally reprogramming it, he not mentioned an understatement of what he is doing. This may not be in all essences, necessary, but all in order, he has been proved wrong on this point numerous times. Strike 12.
Health[]
Matt claimed to have brain cancer, and come back to the wiki the next day, saying he's been cured. You don't get brain cancer and get cured the next day. Hispanics have a low population of brain tumor, and the cases of brain tumor are really bad when they strike. Either he was an EXTREMELY lucky guy, or a big liar. I think you see my point. Strike 13.
He has also previously claimed to have slipped into a coma, where his friend has taken over for him. Some questions arise, such as "Why does his friend know the password?" and "Why does he have to take over?" and "Why did Matt slip into a coma?". The general population for people who are victims of comas include older gentlemen. Mid-life and elderly. One thing that strikes the hammer is that the blog post made by "Jake" involves the same typing style as Matt. This guy must be really close to Matt, since he knows quite a lot about what he wants or wanted to do (hint: sarcasm). This points to Matt as the likely perpotrator of this action, completely set up. Strike 14.
Conclusion/Damage Assessment[]
Now, you might have your doubts, or are so overly attached to him to actually read any of this and write bull in the comments, but Matt lied, broke my trust, verbally abused me, gave me death threats, threatened to ban me when I broke no rule, disregarded authority, and did all of this to get a larger ego and to fuel his fake reputation. And whatever you would like to pull up to support him, along with me, there are many others who believe he is an undeniable liar. Though I am not in authority, I deem Matt unworthy of a badge. He has gained over a dozen strikes, and many more during previous events.
Thankyou if you actually read all that, it was a pain to construct. If you have any objections, counter-arguments, eyewitness accounts, strikes that I missed, insults and/or anything else, please comment. This may seem like an over-reaction, but I HATE liars, and I cannot and WILL NOT stand around if some guy is gaining an alter-ego by lying about his whole life.
