Trivia
- The episode's name is a play on the 1994 film True Lies.
- This episode may have been inspired by the Get Smart movie called The Nude Bomb (also known as "The Return of Maxwell Smart"), where Agent Maxwell Smart is called back into service in order to stop a nefarious KAOS terrorist plan from exploding a bomb that destroys only clothing.
- Confirmed: Keswick is an alien and is hiding on Earth because he's wanted on his old home planet for cooking stinky fish at work.
- Extensive truths about the characters that weren't known before are revealed in this episode:
- Dudley Puppy
- He actually isn't stupid. He just pretends to be so he can get Kitty to do all his work for him.
- He once used the T.U.F.F. missile for his neighbor's 4th of July fireworks display.
- He and Kitty often stop for ice cream before solving a crime. Sometimes, they don't even thwart the crime and arrest the next person in line.
- Kitty Katswell
- She actually likes doing all of Dudley's work but just complains a lot to make it look like she's doing more.
- She also thinks she is better than everyone else in T.U.F.F.
- She's not really a black belt in karate. She just bought a black belt and makes scary karate noises.
- She goes to play in the Yarn Barn whenever she calls in sick.
- She and Dudley often stop for ice cream before solving a crime. Sometimes, they don't even thwart the crime and arrest the next person in line.
- The Chief
- Beans give him gas.
- Whenever he passes gas, he pins the blame on Dudley.
- Francisco
- His real name is Francesca (because his mother wanted a girl).
- Ollie
- He is not really British. He only fakes the accent to sound smarter.
- Verminious Snaptrap
- He doesn't hate Larry, but only mistreated him because he believes he has much potential to be malignant, which is seen in Doom and Gloom.
- Larry
- He puts black widows in Snaptrap's gym bag.
- Dudley Puppy
Running Gags
- Characters humorously telling the truth.
Goofs
- Katty Katswell appears in the final credits when she actually didn't appear.
