• The title of this episode is a parody of the famous urban legend, The Curse of King Tut.
  • This is the first episode to have Verminious Snaptrap, Bird Brain, and The Chameleon working together.
  • This episode marks the first time Bird Brain goes on a villainous mission without his henchmen, including Zippy, and this is the second time that Snaptrap goes on without his fellow D.O.O.M. agents.
  • Snaptrap mentions the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz
  • While The Chameleon was "freeing" Dudley from the curse, he mentioned Brendan Fraser in his rantings; this is a reference to The Mummy.
  • When The Chameleon first scared Dudley, he also make a reference to the movie Jewel of the Nile in his many references to Egypt. Both as a joke and a reference to Egypt, despite the film taking place in Modern time.
  • This is the first time Kitty shows her feline instincts.
  • In his attempts to act Egyptian, he also mentioned the Sphinx, pyramids, Egyptian cotton, Tutankhamen, and Nefertiti.
  • The name "Dudley's Own Pasta Sauce" is a reference to Newman's Own brand of sauces. The other being "Chameleon's Own Salad Dressing" from Puppy Love.

Running Gags

  • Bird Brain getting annoyed at Snaptrap and The Chameleon.
  • Dudley burying stuff.
  • Random objects through history exhibits.
  • The Chameleon trying to name the group "Team Evil".

  • When Kitty was chasing The Chameleon (as a wind-up mouse toy) she had her boots on, later outside when after she said she was going to use her rocket boots she was barefooted, then when she is back in King Mutt exhibit she had her boots back on.
  • When Dudley caught his foot on the toilet paper that Snaptrap was wrapped in, it caused him to spin out of control and into the Hall of Sledgehammers Through History, but when we see him being hit, he is wrapped up again, then when he comes out he isn't.
