• This episode is very similar to the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Enemy In-Law", because Mr. Krabs' enemy, Plankton, starts dating his mother.
• Bird Brain has different henchmen in this episode. Owl, Bat, and Zippy are all absent.
• Peg's new nickname: Peggy-poo.
• Items stolen by Snaptrap: 252 (possibly trail mix ×2, cash, assorted expensive objects, Kitty's ring and cell phone, The Stanley Cup (The National Hockey League Play-off trophy currently in possession of the Boston Bruins), an animal version of the Mona Lisa, an Oscar statuette (from the Academy Awards) and Peg's stain stick ×2)
• The D.O.O.M.'s slogan, "we deliver evil in 30 minutes or it's free" is a reference to the classic slogan using pizza stores.
• Snaptrap had a hamster named Lil' Snappy.
• It is revealed in this episode that Dudley doesn't have a father.
• This is the first time we see Dudley's house.
• It is revealed that the Easter Bunny always gives The Chief trail mix.
• Snaptrap said he can blast Larry with no issues but he can't blast Ollie and Francisco because they are like family to him. It's ironic because Larry is a relative of his (brother-in-law) but then again this is likely just foreshadowing his (Snaptrap's) hatred for Larry.
• This is the first episode where Kitty gets a bandage out of nowhere.
• Snaptrap said the title of the episode a number of times.
• This is the first (mentioned) appearance of blood on the show (Peg thought it was ketchup).
• Dumpin Donuts is a parody of Dunkin' Donuts. The first time was seen in Snapnapped, and the second time being in Thunder Dog.
• The Chameleon isn't portrayed as a villain in this episode.

Running Gags

• Dudley throws up/faints/making himself mad and furious every time Snaptrap thinks that he will become Dudley's father.
• Someone keeps mentioning the Easter Bunny's presence.

Goofs

• In the credits it says that Bad Dog was voiced by Daran Norris, but he only had a cameo with Ollie, Larry, and Francisco with a group shouting "Yay!" at D.O.O.M. HQ.
• When Snaptrap calls Peg in the car, Kitty disappears.
• When Larry got blasted by Snaptrap, you can see that Larry appears to be wearing pants.
