- Burt Bacharach Snaptrap is a blatant parody of American composer, songwriter, and pianist Burt Bacharach.
- Dudley and Kitty create a fictitious enemy named Jeff, in which it ends up being real and steals the smiley face that the president gave to The Chief.
- Some scenes are parodies both Indiana Jones (when Snaptrap is disguised as Indy) and Star Wars (with Snaptrap dressed as Darth Vader and Dudely reacting the whole trench run scene from A New Hope).
- It is revealed that Snaptrap has a brother named Matt presumably in reference to Snaptrap's voice actor Matthew W. Taylor.
