T.U.F.F. Puppy Wiki

Trivia

  • It is shown that Keswick goes through many metamorphoses with age:
    • Baby: mudskipper-like appearance and has tentacle-like heat sensors on his back.
    • 6-year-old: platypus-like appearance and shoots barbed quills from his mouth when he hiccups.
    • Teenager: looks just like his current appearance but has a spiked tail (that falls off and becomes another Keswick that he has to fight against) and squirts ink when nervous.
    • Young Adult: current appearance.
    • Old: jellyfish-like appearance.
  • The quote "There can be only one." that Keswick says is a reference to the tagline of Highlander.
  • Snaptrap as a teenager referred to The Chief as Fonzie. This is a reference to Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli from Happy Days.
  • Puceberry is a parody of Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt.
  • We learn that each person who was hit by the ray (excluding Keswick) was a teenager in a different decade:
    • The Chief: 1950’s
    • Kitty: 2000’s
    • Snaptrap and the rest of D.O.O.M.: 1980’s
  • The designs of each D.O.O.M. member during their teenage phase are based off various 1980s musicians:
  • It’s shown that Kitty wore braces at the age of 6 because in Operation: Happy Birthday, when Kitty was 5 she isn't shown to wear braces at all.
  • This is the first episode of season 2 in packaging order.
  • The Chief's super flea outfit is a homage to Superman.

Running Gags

  • Hiding toppings under the yogurt so you don't have to pay for the toppings.
  • Dudley hitting a disco ball with the Young Gun causing it to reflect in different directions.
  • T.U.F.F. and D.O.O.M. aging backwards.
  • Keswick:
    • His metamorphoses getting weirder and weirder.
    • Still acting pretty much the same at any age despite getting younger and younger.
  • Dance Party Fridays.

Goofs

  • Keswick said that his species looks like jellyfish when they get old, yet in The Doomies when his parents are seen they don't look like jellyfish at all and resemble older versions of his current appearance.
  • Keswick warns Dudley that he only has three seconds to reverse the effects of the Young Gun after he gets it back in his possession. However, the time it took between Keswick giving the warning and Dudley shooting the disco ball took longer than the second that Dudley had after Keswick was done warning him.
