- The name of this episode is a pun of the phrase "nuts and bolts", which means the essential elements of something.
- According to Dudley's clairvoyance ability, Kitty will be married with Eric in the future. But, when Dudley is about to reveal more information about it, he is interrupted by lightning that causes him to go back to normal.
Dudley's Frightened Face, when he says "HE'S ..."
- Dudley's line "But I'm pretty sure my name is not Eric" after he is back to normal could possibly hint that he is the one who is going to marry Kitty. The fact that Dudley sounded like he was going to warn Kitty about a major detail concerning who Eric.

- Dudley telling people "to take a step to the left", to stop them from being hit by something (or in The Chameleon's case, to be hit by something).
- Snaptrap's bad breath.
- Dudley stalling after Kitty asking if she is going to marry Eric in the future.

Goofs
- Kitty says she has nine lives, but in Doom-mates, she was down to her last one because The Chameleon blasted them away.
- In the closing credits of this episode, the Little Chipmunk Girl is voiced by Grey DeLisle is added, but this character didn't appear in the episode, it might be a oversight.
- When Dudley is struck by lighting, the rusts on his knight suit disappear.
- When D.O.O.M. is in the T.U.F.F. jail cell, Francisco is not there. But when Snaptrap is pacing, Francisco is sitting on a bunker.
- Snaptrap's left arm moved bars in a couple of shots.
- When Snaptrap looks at his phone he is right near the wall. But when he has handcuffs on him he is next to a pile of coins.
- When Dudley is looking at the future, the banana that he was holding disappears.
