- It’s revealed that Snaptrap's mom has orange curly hair in Snaptrap's puppet show.
- When Snaptrap asks Larry how many lumps he wants for his tea, Snaptrap hits Larry on the head with a mallet twice, which is a reference to the Looney Tunes short "Rabbit's Kin" featuring Bugs Bunny and Pete Puma.
- The design of the nuclear bombs stored in the warehouse at the Petropolis Military Base resemble the Fat Man bomb of WWII.
- Although Quacky's eyes are black instead of purple in this episode, the Quacky costume Keswick and Dudley wore has purple eyes.
