• The "Happy-Bake" oven Snaptrap steals from the toy store is a reference to the Easy-Bake Oven.
  • PBI is a spoof of FBI.
  • While sitting at D.O.O.M.'s tea party, Ollie sips tea from a teacup while he reads Pride and Prejudice. This is also the first time someone is shown reading Pride and Prejudice. The second time is in Time Waits for No Mutt, in that case it was Bird Brain reading it.
  • It is hinted that Snaptrap's mom may have orange curly hair, as revealed in Snaptrap's puppet show.
  • The Dinosaur toy resembles Rex from the 1995 Pixar film Toy Story.
  • When Snaptrap asks Larry how many lumps he wants for his tea, Snaptrap hits Larry on the head with a mallet twice, which is a reference to the Looney Tunes short "Rabbit's Kin" featuring Bugs Bunny and Pete Puma.
  • Both Snaptrap and the Chief missed the Quacky the Duck episode where Quacky teaches the kids to tell time.
  • This episode marks Quacky the Duck's first appearance. He appears once again in Lucky Duck.
  • This is the first episode where Dudley and Kitty sing (excluding T.U.F.F. and D.O.O.M.).
    • This is the third time that Jerry Trainor sings on a TV show (possibly the fourth), the first time was in the episode The Storm, from the series Drake & Josh, and the second was in the special episode iParty with Victorious, from the series iCarly. Possibly the fourth time is in Share-A-Lair from this show.
  • The nuclear bombs stored in the warehouse at the Petropolis Military Base resemble the Fat Man bomb of WWII fame.
  • Although the nuclear devices resemble bombs, all the characters refer to them as missiles.
  • Although Quacky's eyes are black instead of purple in this episode, the Quacky costume Keswick and Dudley wore has purple eyes.

Running Gags

  • Dudley shaking Kitty to search for something Snaptrap lied about (to delay the agents). One example: "Hey kids, the cat and dog have candy!"
  • Snaptrap and the Chief missing the same episode of the Quacky the Duck show.
  • Kids attacking Dudley and Kitty.
  • Sharing Moose and Quacky warning children not to commit illegal crimes (e.g. internet fraud).
  • The Chief can't tell time, thinking a minute is forty seconds, an hour in daylight savings time is 408 minutes and asking the agents to be back at five to remind him when to go home.
