Gerald William "Jerry" Trainor (born January 21, 1977) is an American actor, comedian, and voice actor, widely known for playing Spencer Shay on iCarly. He is also known as Crazy Steve on Drake & Josh and the title character, Dudley Puppy, on Nick's animated show, T.U.F.F. Puppy. Jerry also appears on the web series Hungry Girl TV. Trainor will be the co star of a new Nick series Wendell and Vinnie beginning February, 2013. Funny face Jerry Trainor needs no introduction around here. This heartwarming wacko has tripped, tic'ed, screamed, and squirmed his way into Nickelodeon history; first as Drake & Josh's Crazy Steve, and more recently (and famously) as iCarly's Spencer Shay. He has even appeared on a Nick@Nite staple, Malcolm In The Middle. But now, Jerry's taking his Nick name to all new heights by wrapping his paws around the role of a lifetime: Dudley Puppy! As the voice of Nick's new canine undercover cop, Jerry's got his work cut out for him. He has to make a sloppy, slobbering, dim-witted dog sound like a hero. But lovably offbeat leaders are this character actor's specialty. With Jerry Trainor taking the reins, this puppy is guaranteed to be in full-tilt frantic freak out mode at all times! He's just the perfect man for the job. Keep an ear out for Jerry Trainor on T.U.F.F. Puppy![1]
