Hot Dog is the twenty-seventh episode of T.U.F.F. Puppy's first season.

Dudley becomes obsessed with preserving his finely coiffed fur after entering the Petropolis Dog Show in order to get his personal mailman. However, it begins to interfere with his ability to fight crime.

The Chameleon's plan works and his giant magnifier turns the city into a desert. Kitty and Dudley leave to stop him. Yet, Dudley is more interested in keeping his hair safe, as well as replacing the emergency stuff with hair treatment stuff and leaving their water at T.U.F.F. so it wouldn't mess with his fur. Kitty can't withstand the heat and shaves herself telling Dudley to do the same. The dog refuses, even being all sweaty and having hallucinations.

Kitty faces The Chameleon alone, but he manages to fool her and is ready to roast her on a barbecue. Dudley shaves to save Kitty and Petropolis. He eventually is given a prize for giving up the dog show to help a friend by The Chief and gets his personal mailman as well.
