Thomas Christopher "Chris" Parnell (born February 5, 1967) is an American actor, comedian and singer, best known as a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1998-2006, as Dr. Leo Spaceman from NBC's 30 Rock, and as Fred Shay from ABC's Suburgatory. He also voices Cyril Figgis from Archer, Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty, The Narrator from the PBS Kids animated series WordGirl, and he does the voice of the suave talking "Progressive Box" from the Progressive insurance TV commercials. To this day, Chris also does voice acting in animated shows and animated films like Gravity Falls, the News Reporter from Bojack Horseman, the Judge from Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, Mr. Peabody from The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show, Snoot from Dawn of the Croods, Fly from Hotel Transylvania and Hotel Transylvania 2, Announcer #2 from Turbo, Mr. Thistleton from Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, Hammer from Escape from Planet Earth, as well as live action roles such as Jingle All the Way, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy & Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Hot Rod.
