Trivia
- This episode's title is a homophone of "chili dog".
- Slush was voiced by Dave Boat, the same voice actor who voiced Vortex in Danny Phantom.
- This is the first episode to involve cross-dressing. The second being Iron Mutt.
- This is the first episode to have a character's fur shaved. The second being Hot Dog.
- Dudley says "Where were you on the night of June 33rd?", which is another example of his stupidity.
- The end card that's used in this episode is used the most, appearing in other episodes.
- Possible innuendo: The bunny that was fawning over "Tiffany Rose Amber Heather" is obviously female (as told by it having long eyelashes lipstick), meaning the bunny may have been a lesbian. However it's more likely she may have just been a big fan, being that T.U.F.F. Puppy is a kids show, in the same sense as Mr. Turner was for Chip Skylark in The Fairly OddParents.
- This the first episode not to feature any of the main villains.
- This is the second episode to not feature Verminious Snaptrap, D.O.O.M. or The Chameleon, the first was Mom-A-Geddon.
Running Gags
- Kitty having to explain things to Dudley in the car.
- Dudley accusing the old turtle lady of kidnapping the other ice skaters.
Goofs
- When the huge metal dinosaur fell into the basement, it completely disappeared. Though, when Dudley and Kitty fall into the basement, the room is only about 7 feet high. The top half of the dinosaur should have been able to be seen. Plus, the two ice skaters that fell with the dinosaur could've easily climbed back up to the top, if the top half of the dinosaur was still there. And even then, the top of the head would reach the height of the ice rink, also allowing the two to escape.
- When Keswick gives Kitty her soldier costume, the sash is on the left shoulder, but when Kitty receives it and wears it, the sash is on the right shoulder.
