Trivia
- Willy Wombat and his factory is a parody of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and its film adaptations.
- While his appearance is specifically based on Gene Wilder's portrayal of the character in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, his factory is similar to the one from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
- The name of the candy store that the Chameleon has opened up, Caramel Caramel Caramel Caramel Caramel Chameleon, is a reference to the 1983 hit song Karma Chameleon by Boy George.
- The name of the Chuckle Duck club is a pun on a vulgar term meaning "a stupid or inept person".
Running Gags
- Dudley trying to eat candy in Willy Wombat's factory.
- Dudley kept asking Kitty to carry him.
- Dudley blaming Kitty for eating his candy bar.
- Dudley and Keswick mistake the Chameleon for "The Comedian".
Goofs
- When Dudley holds out the two bottles of soda he had, they're able to be held with just one hand and only about half his size. But when he and Kitty shake them up to escape the trap in the office, they're about the same size as them and they had to hold them with both hands.
- When Kitty explains that she ate Dudley's last candy bar, she had chocolate on her lips. But when Dudley asks what really happened to his candy bar, the chocolate is gone from her lips. It is possible, however, that she may have licked the remnants of the chocolate from her lips.
