- Dudley's long hair, bandanna, and muscular physique is a reference to John Rambo, the titular main character from the Rambo series.
- Innuendo: In the house where Snaptrap and the members of D.O.O.M. were, was seen the silhouette of an human cadaver represented on tape.
- Yellowbone Park is a parody of the real life Yellowstone Park.
- Snaptrap and the rest of D.O.O.M. stealing picnic baskets is also a reference to a running gag from the classic cartoon Yogi Bear
- The boy scout clothing worn by Snaptrap is almost identical to the one used in Snappy Campers (the difference is that he uses a pair of pants instead of shorts).
- This is the second time is seen an iPhone in the series (this time it is used by Snaptrap), the first was in Happy Howl-O-Ween.
- Snaptrap's cabin features a hockey mask, a reference to the villain Jason Voorhees in the Friday The 13th series, and the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead) seen in The Evil Dead series. The cabin itself is also a reference to both series as they both had a cabin as a main setting for a majority of their films.
- Keswick's personal vehicle bares a resemblance to a Nash Metropolitan convertible.
